What Are Demodex Mites?
Demodex mites are microscopic skin parasites that live under hair follicles and in oil glands. They are linked to many hair and skin issues such as Demodex rosacea, Demodex acne and Demodex Blepharitis.
You may have heard about Demodex in dogs, but recent studies have shown that these mites are also present in human skin and do not usually present symptoms until a high population density is found.
